Supporting educators to deliver inspiring learning experiences and pathways to learners.
GCED e-Campus is an online training, networking and accreditation platform by the Council for Global Citizenship Education, an initiative of the Global Citizenship Foundation.
The e-Campus provides GCED Certificate/Micro-Credential courses, special lecture series, case videos of GCED initiatives, and GCED-related teaching & learning materials for educators.
GCED e-Campus has been built to empower and encourage educators to deliver global citizenship education within and beyond the classroom.
GCED MasterCourses are designed to empower educators with the necessary skills and competence to shape global citizens and leaders of tomorrow. Each MasterCourse develops strong pedagogy and practice of GCED through enhancing the participating educators':
Our MasterCourses are meant to be ‘Open’, i.e., designed to be freely accessible and open-licensed (i.e. Creative Commons). Participants earn micro-credentials (Digital Badges and Certificates of Participation) on the successful completion of a course with us.
GCED MasterCourses are instructor-led (running several times per year) or on-demand and run over four to eight weeks, with approx. 1-2 learner study hours per week.
Our MasterCourses feature a range of high-quality media including video, audio, animations, and several interactive and engaging activities.
